The cedar pellicle
Is an environmentally friendly product, which is obtained at a certain stage of the cedar’s processing.
The pellicle is used in the food industry as a source of dietary fibre and other biologically active substances; in the manufacture of bakery and farinaceous products, as well as biologically active additives to food.
The cedar pellicle, however, is commonly used as filler for pillows, blankets and featherbeds. It promotes healthy sleep, helps fighting insomnia and depression, gives strength and improve mood.
