Shell of cedar nut
The shell has found its application in several directions.
First of all, it is used in the alcoholic beverage production. Many liquor factories have their own signature recipes of balms and tinctures made on the cedar nuts and the shells.
The shell is also used as decorative mulch in landscape design. It well protects plant’s roots from dehydration and root-kill; acidifies the soil, which is very useful for ornamental plants.
The shell is stored and sold in polypropylene bags.
